Mâwa Art Space

I built the public site for Mâwa Art Space, a residency and retreat in Had Dra near Essaouira, run by a clinical psychologist and art therapist. Visitors are artists, dancers and workshop participants, many coming from Europe. They browse three spaces (sleeping 6, 3 and 15), read the workshop agenda and send a stay request. There is no booking engine or online payment: the client didn't want them. The request form composes a pre-filled WhatsApp message.

The site runs on vitrine-core, my own Astro component package, consumed by Git tag. It's static, deployed to Cloudflare Workers on every push to main. The client edits the agenda, construction updates, opening date and page texts herself through Pages CMS, which commits straight to main. Anything time-dependent — the opening countdown, past workshops — is computed in the visitor's browser, never at build time.
